A Strength and Conditioning Coach is responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring physical training programs to improve athletes’ strength, speed, power, endurance, agility, flexibility, and overall athletic performance. The coach helps athletes prepare for competitions, maintain physical fitness, and reduce the risk of injuries through structured and sport-specific conditioning programs.
 

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and implement strength and conditioning programs based on athletes’ fitness levels and sports requirements.
• Conduct fitness assessments to evaluate athletes’ strength, speed, endurance, flexibility, and agility.
• Develop training plans to improve physical performance and athletic abilities.
• Teach proper exercise techniques and ensure the safe use of gym equipment.
• Monitor athletes’ training progress and adjust programs according to their performance.
• Conduct warm-up, cool-down, mobility, and flexibility sessions.
• Implement injury-prevention exercises to reduce the risk of sports-related injuries.
• Track athletes’ workload, recovery, and physical conditioning.
• Coordinate with coaches, physiotherapists, and medical staff to support athletes’ fitness and recovery.
• Educate athletes about fitness, hydration, recovery, and healthy training habits.
