The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in sourcing, screening and hiring healthcare professionals across clinical and non-clinical positions. The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment and managing multiple vacancies simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
1. Healthcare Recruitment
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for clinical and non-clinical positions.
- Recruit doctors, nurses, technicians, pharmacists, allied healthcare professionals and hospital support staff.
- Handle recruitment for administrative, front-office, billing, marketing, accounts and other non-clinical roles.
- Understand manpower requirements and prepare appropriate sourcing strategies for different positions.
- Maintain a healthy pipeline of candidates for critical and recurring positions.
2. Sourcing & Candidate Management
- Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, social media, professional networks, references and other recruitment channels.
- Build and maintain a database of healthcare professionals and potential candidates.
- Conduct initial screening and assess candidates based on qualifications, experience, skills and organizational fit.
- Coordinate interviews with HODs, medical leadership and management.
- Follow up with selected candidates until joining.
3. Doctor & Clinical Hiring
- Handle recruitment of doctors across various specialties and departments.
- Source candidates through medical networks, professional associations, referrals and digital platforms.
- Coordinate discussions regarding compensation, joining timelines, roles and other employment terms.
- Maintain regular communication with doctors throughout the recruitment process.
4. Recruitment Coordination
- Coordinate the complete recruitment cycle from manpower requisition to onboarding.
- Maintain accurate recruitment trackers and provide regular hiring updates to management.
- Ensure timely closure of vacancies as per agreed TAT.
- Coordinate documentation and background verification requirements before joining.
- Ensure proper handover of selected candidates to the HR Operations/Onboarding team.
5. Employer Branding & Talent Pool Development
- Support HR initiatives to strengthen the hospital's employer brand.
- Create and circulate relevant job posts across appropriate platforms.
- Develop long-term talent pools for frequently hired positions.
- Explore new recruitment channels to improve hiring quality and reduce recruitment TAT.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate degree in any discipline; MBA/PGDM in HR will be an advantage.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in recruitment, preferably in the healthcare/hospital industry.
- Hands-on experience in sourcing healthcare professionals is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good negotiation and candidate management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple positions and priorities simultaneously.
- Good knowledge of recruitment portals, LinkedIn and social-media sourcing.
- Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets and recruitment trackers.
- Ability to work in a target-oriented and fast-paced environment.
