Key Responsibilities

• Operate MIG and other welding equipment to join and fabricate metal components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications.
• Identify the appropriate welding position, process, materials, and equipment for each job.
• Set up and operate welding machines, including wire-feed welding equipment.
• Weld materials such as structural steel, stainless steel, and other metals as required.
• Ensure welds meet required quality standards, dimensions, and specifications.
• Inspect completed welds for defects, cracks, porosity, and other quality issues.
• Maintain welding equipment and follow all applicable safety procedures.
