Role Overview: A Forklift Operator is a warehouse or logistics worker who operates a forklift truck to move, lift, stack, load, and unload materials within a warehouse, factory, or distribution centre.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts safely for material handling and movement.
• Load and unload materials, pallets, cartons, and equipment.
• Move materials from receiving areas to designated storage locations.
• Transfer materials between warehouse, production, and dispatch areas.
• Stack and arrange materials properly in designated locations.
• Ensure materials are handled without damage.
• Check material quantity and condition during movement.
• Follow proper forklift operating procedures and safety guidelines.
• Perform daily/basic inspection of the forklift before operation.
• Report forklift defects, maintenance requirements, or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain proper housekeeping in the material handling area.
• Follow warehouse SOPs and instructions from supervisors.
• Support inventory and warehouse operations when required.
