Key Responsibilities

Machine Operation & Setup

• Operate industrial sewing machines such as single-needle, double-needle, overlock, and flatlock machines.
• Adjust machine settings, including thread tension, stitch length, and stitch width.
• Thread needles, change spools, and replace broken needles as required.
• Ensure proper machine setup before starting production.

Garment Assembly & Production

• Accurately align and feed cut fabric pieces into the sewing machine.
• Perform stitching, hemming, seaming, and gathering operations.
• Attach garment components such as zippers, buttons, and elastic bands.
• Maintain required production targets and ensure timely completion of assigned work.

Quality Control & Machine Maintenance

• Inspect garments for loose threads, skipped stitches, uneven seams, fabric puckering, and other defects.
• Separate defective pieces and report quality issues to the supervisor.
• Keep the sewing machine clean and properly lubricated.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and report major machine issues to the maintenance team.
• Follow company safety procedures, quality standards, and production guidelines.
