• Operate CNC VMC machines as per production requirements.
• Read and interpret 2D/3D engineering drawings and part programs.
• Set up tools, fixtures and workpieces for machining operations.
• Perform machine zero setting, tool offset and program calling.
• Inspect parts using measuring instruments (e.g., Vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, bore gauge).
• Perform basic programming and program editing (Fanuc, Siemens or Mitsubishi controllers as applicable).
• Ensure proper cutting parameters (speed, feed, depth of cut) are followed for material and tool.
• Monitor tool wear and change tools as needed to maintain accuracy.
• Ensure timely completion of machining jobs as per plan.
• Maintain 5S and safety practices in the workplace.
• Coordinate with QC and engineering teams for first piece approvals.
• Report any machine issues or deviations in parts immediately.
• Knowledge of G-code/M-code.
• Basic computer knowledge and understanding of production documentation.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in machining of mould components / precision parts.
• Basic CAD/CAM knowledge (PowerMill, MasterCAM or NX preferred).
• Understanding of ISO/TS quality systems.
