Job Summary
The Trainee – Food Production Associate will undergo structured on-the-job training in food preparation, production processes, hygiene standards, food safety, and kitchen operations. The trainee will support the production team in preparing high-quality food products while adhering to company SOPs, quality standards, and food safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation, cutting, washing, weighing, and portioning ingredients.
- Support the production team in preparing food as per standard recipes and production plans.
- Follow SOPs related to food production and quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstations, equipment, and utensils.
- Adhere to Food Safety Management System (FSMS), FSSAI, and HACCP guidelines.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of raw materials and finished products.
- Assist in packaging and labeling of finished products.
- Monitor product quality and report any deviations to the supervisor.
- Support inventory handling and minimize food wastage.
- Follow health and safety practices while operating kitchen equipment.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily production targets.
- Attend all training sessions and demonstrate continuous learning.
- Perform any other operational duties assigned by the reporting manager.
Eligibility
- Minimum Qualification: Class X / XII Pass or ITI / Diploma in Food Production / Hotel Management (Preferred)
- Freshers are encouraged to apply.
- Basic understanding of food hygiene and kitchen operations is desirable.
