Job Summary :

The role offers structured industry training and hands-on experience in production, assembly, quality assurance, manufacturing processes, testing, and maintenance of automotive and electromechanical systems used in Defence, Aerospace, and Strategic Electronics manufacturing.


Eligibility

  • BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, automotive systems, production operations, and quality control.
  • Familiarity with engineering drawings, measuring instruments, and workshop practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Fresh graduates and final-year students are encouraged to apply.


Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes and assembly techniques.
  • Familiarity with quality tools such as 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma concepts.
  • Basic understanding of production planning, inventory management, and industrial safety.
  • Experience with measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, torque wrenches, and gauges is an added advantage.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in manufacturing, assembly, and integration of automotive and electromechanical components.
  • Support production planning and shop-floor manufacturing activities.
  • Perform inspection, testing, and quality checks of manufactured products.
  • Assist in troubleshooting production and assembly-related issues.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and technical specifications.
  • Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Support preventive maintenance of manufacturing equipment and production tools.
  • Prepare production reports, quality documentation, and inspection records.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to achieve manufacturing targets.
  • Follow 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and workplace safety practices.
