QP Code & Level: (CON/Q0314– Level 3)
Role Overview: To assist in the erection, dismantling, maintenance, and inspection of pipe-and-coupler as well as customized system scaffolds, ensuring safe work practices, quality standards, and compliance with site safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities: -
- · Prepare the work area by leveling and compacting the ground before scaffold erection.
- · Shift, stack, and arrange scaffold materials and components at the work location.
- · Install barricades, guard rails, safety nets, and other safety arrangements before commencing work.
- · Assist in marking layouts and transferring levels using appropriate measuring tools.
- · Inspect scaffold pipes, couplers, fittings, and system scaffold components and report defects.
- · Assist in erecting pipe-and-coupler scaffolds as per supervisor instructions.
- · Assist in erecting customized system scaffolds using approved components and procedures.
- · Ensure proper fixing of clamps, couplers, walk boards, toe boards, guard rails, and working platforms.
- · Assist in checking scaffold alignment, plumb, and stability.
- · Safely dismantle scaffolds in the prescribed sequence.
- · Clean, maintain, and store scaffold materials after dismantling.
- · Follow PPE requirements, housekeeping standards, and Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) procedures at all times.
- · Coordinate effectively with supervisors and team members for timely completion of work.
