Job Description – Field Officer for Manpower Services (Security Guards & Housekeeping Staff)
Position Title: - Field Officer

Job Summary
The Field Officer is responsible for supervising and managing multiple client sites where security guards and housekeeping staff are deployed. The role includes ensuring proper manpower deployment, maintaining discipline, handling client coordination, conducting inspections, resolving site-related issues, maintaining attendance and reports, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. The Field Officer acts as a communication bridge between the company management, clients, and deployed staff to ensure quality service and client satisfaction.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Site Supervision & Monitoring
- Visit all assigned client sites regularly.
- Ensure security guards and housekeeping staff report on duty on time.
- Monitor staff discipline, grooming, behavior, and performance.
- Conduct surprise inspections and night visits whenever required.
- Ensure proper uniforms, ID cards, and safety equipment are used by staff.
- Verify that all duties are performed according to client requirements.
2. Manpower Management
- Manage deployment of security guards and housekeeping staff at various sites.
- Arrange replacement staff in case of absenteeism, leave, or emergencies.
- Maintain adequate backup manpower for urgent requirements.
- Handle shift scheduling and duty allocation.
- Ensure proper attendance and maintain manpower records.
3. Client Coordination
- Maintain regular communication with clients/site representatives.
- Attend client meetings and resolve complaints promptly.
- Ensure client satisfaction through effective manpower management.
- Collect client feedback regarding staff performance and services.
- Inform management about client requirements or operational issues.
4. Staff Handling & Discipline
- Guide and motivate deployed staff.
- Handle employee grievances and workplace issues.
- Take disciplinary action in coordination with management whenever necessary.
- Ensure staff follow company rules, discipline, and code of conduct.
- Conduct basic training and briefing for newly deployed employees.
5. Operational Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site visit reports.
- Submit attendance reports and deployment status to management.
- Maintain records of:
- Staff attendance
- Leave
- Uniform issuance
- Site inspections
- Client complaints
- Incident reports
- Report any emergency, theft, accident, or misconduct immediately.
6. Emergency & Crisis Handling
- Respond quickly to emergencies at client sites.
- Coordinate during security incidents, accidents, fire, or medical emergencies.
- Ensure proper escalation of issues to higher management.
- Arrange immediate manpower support during urgent situations.
7. Compliance & Quality Control
- Ensure all deployed manpower follows company SOPs and client policies.
- Monitor service quality standards at all sites.
- Ensure housekeeping cleanliness standards are maintained.
- Ensure security protocols and registers are properly maintained.
- Support audits and inspections whenever required.
Experience
- Minimum 1–3 years’ experience in:
- Security agency operations
- Facility management
- Housekeeping supervision
- Manpower handling
