Role Description

The Bima Sakhi role is a full-time position with a hybrid work setup involving both on-site responsibilities in Kolkata and the flexibility of working from home. The role entails promoting LIC insurance products, building and maintaining client relationships, and assisting customers in selecting the right insurance plans tailored to their needs. Bima Sakhi professionals will also be responsible for attending training sessions, achieving sales targets, and supporting clients with policy-related queries and services.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and relationship building.
  • Sales and marketing abilities, including providing guidance on different insurance plans.
  • Organizational and time-management skills for managing client appointments and maintaining records.
  • Proficiency in basic computer operations, such as data entry and use of company software.
  • A passion for customer service and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to ethical sales practices.
  • Prior experience in insurance, sales, or customer service is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • High school diploma or higher education qualification. Applicants with experience in financial services will be preferred.
