Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Engineer to oversee and optimize manufacturing processes, improve productivity, maintain quality standards, and support smooth production operations. The ideal candidate will work closely with production teams to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely delivery targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, monitor, and control daily production activities to meet output targets.
• Improve manufacturing processes for higher efficiency and reduced waste.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and production specifications.
• Analyze production data and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize machine downtime.
• Implement lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, or continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare production schedules and ensure timely execution.
• Monitor material utilization and reduce rejection/scrap.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Support new product development and process setup.
• Train operators and production staff on process standards and best practices.
• Prepare and maintain production reports, SOPs, and documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in production or manufacturing operations (Freshers may apply for junior roles).
• Knowledge of production planning and process optimization.
• Understanding of quality tools, lean manufacturing, and root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Office.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of CNC/Sheet Metal/Assembly/Machining processes (if applicable).
• Experience with TPM, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or 5S.
• Good communication and team coordination skills.
• Ability to work under production targets and deadlines.
