Key Responsibilities
1. Market Intelligence & Strategy
Sector Targeting: Identify and analyze growth opportunities in key sectors such as Oil & Gas, Defense, Renewables, and Infrastructure.
Competitor Analysis: Monitor the capabilities, lead times, and pricing strategies of rival forge shops.
Niche Positioning: Highlight the shop's specific strengths (e.g., exotic alloys, ring rolling).
2. Lead Generation & Sales Support
Inquiry Management: Act as the first point of contact for RFQs (Requests for Quote), ensuring the engineering team has the data needed to bid.
CRM Management: Maintain a pipeline of industrial clients, procurement managers, and engineering consultants.
Technical Content: Create case studies showcasing how the shop solved complex metallurgical or structural challenges for clients.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
Experience : 4–5 years in B2B industrial marketing, preferably in metalworking or manufacturing.
Technical Savvy : Ability to read basic blueprints and understand metallurgical terms (tensile strength, heat treatment, etc.).
Communication : Strong ability to translate "shop talk" into value-driven professional proposals.
