Key Job Roles and Responsibilities (Trainee Level)

• Fabrication of Dental Appliances: Assisting in the construction of dentures (full or partial), crowns, bridges, and orthodontic devices (aligners, retainers) using materials like acrylic resins, metals, and porcelain.
• Model Preparation: Making diagnostic and master casts from dentist impressions using plaster or stone.
• Lab Support Activities: Setting up, maintaining, and cleaning laboratory equipment; sterilizing instruments; and keeping the workspace organized.
• Material Handling: Learning to properly handle, mix, and store gypsum products, waxes, and impression materials.
• Repair and Adjustments: Repairing broken dentures, relining dentures, and adjusting dental devices to ensure proper fit.
