We are looking for a high-energy, results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our growth team. In this role, you will be the engine of our sales pipeline. You’ll be responsible for identifying high-potential market opportunities, initiating first contact with decision-makers, and nurturing those relationships until they are ready to close.
This is a perfect role for a former SDR/BDR looking to take the next step into full-cycle sales or a junior BDM ready to scale their impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Utilize LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM tools, and cold outreach (email/phone) to identify and qualify new business opportunities.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects, moving them through the stages of the sales funnel.
- Pitching & Presentations: Conduct discovery calls and deliver compelling product demonstrations tailored to the prospect's pain points.
- Market Research: Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activity to position our value proposition effectively.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing team to refine lead-gen strategies and the Product team to relay customer feedback.
- CRM Hygiene: Maintain meticulous records in [CRM Name, e.g., Salesforce/HubSpot] to ensure accurate forecasting.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 0–2years in sales, business development, or account management (SaaS or B2B experience preferred).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; you should be able to write a cold email that actually gets a response.
- Resilience: A "thick skin" and a positive attitude toward rejection.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency with CRM software and sales intelligence tools.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
