We are seeking a semi-skilled Diamond Assorter to join our jewelry manufacturing team. The Diamond Assorter will be responsible for evaluating, grading, and assorting diamonds based on key parameters such as size, shape, color, clarity, and cut. This role is critical to ensuring the quality and uniformity of diamonds used in our jewelry collections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Examine and sort diamonds based on 4Cs: Carat, Cut, Clarity, and Color.
• Group diamonds into precise assortments for specific jewelry designs.
• Identify and separate diamonds with defects, inclusions, or non-conforming characteristics.
• Use precision tools and equipment such as loupes, microscopes, and measuring instruments.
• Collaborate with the procurement, design, and production teams to ensure alignment with quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of diamond assortments and inventory.
• Follow established quality control procedures and adhere to company policies.
• Stay updated on industry standards, new grading techniques, and tools.

Requirements:

• Fair knowledge of diamond characteristics and international grading standards (GIA, IGI, etc.).
• Exceptional attention to detail and visual accuracy.
• Ability to work with small components and perform repetitive tasks with high consistency.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Basic computer literacy for reporting and inventory management.
• Certification in Diamond Grading or Gemology is a plus.
