Key Responsibilities:

• Perform arc welding, gas cutting, and fabrication work on plant equipment and structures.

• Repair and maintain kiln, cooler, conveyors, pipelines, ducts, chutes, and structural components.

• Carry out welding on MS, SS, and other alloy materials as per drawing and specifications.

• Read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.

• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance welding work.

• Ensure proper alignment and fitting before welding.

• Follow safety procedures, PPE usage, and work permit system inside the plant.

• Maintain welding machines and tools in good condition.

• Follow 5S and housekeeping standards in the work area.

• Coordinate with mechanical team during shutdown and maintenance activities.

Qualification:

• ITI in Welder Trade (Mandatory)

• Certification in Arc / TIG / MIG welding preferred

Experience:

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in steel plant / DRI plant / heavy industry

• Experience in kiln, conveyor, structural, and pipeline welding preferred

Skills Required:

• Knowledge of different welding techniques (Arc, MIG, TIG,4G, 3G, 5G Gas Cutting)

• Basic knowledge of mechanical maintenance
