Position Title: Network Engineer (Fresher)

1. Purpose of the Role
The Network Engineer (Fresher) will support the installation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of network systems. The role focuses on learning and assisting in daily network operations, troubleshooting basic issues, and ensuring stable network connectivity across the organization.
2. Key Responsibilities & Duties
Assist in installation and configuration of LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi networks
Support routine monitoring of network performance and connectivity
Help in troubleshooting basic network issues (connectivity, cabling, device configuration)
Assist in maintenance of network hardware such as switches, routers, and access points
Perform basic cable management, patching, and labeling
Maintain documentation of network layouts, IP details, and device inventory
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and IT security guidelines
Escalate unresolved issues to senior engineers or the IT support team
Support users in basic network-related issues as assigned
Learn and assist in network upgrades, backups, and preventive maintenance tasks

Basic computer and documentation skills
5. Working Conditions
Office and field/site work as required
May involve travel within Bhubaneswar or nearby locations
