Roles & Responsibilities
As a delivery executive, your primary goal is to ensure products reach customers safely and on time within the Cuttack municipal area and outskirts.
Loading & Unloading: Carefully organizing goods inside the van to prevent damage and ensuring the correct items are loaded for the day's route.
Navigation: Using GPS or local knowledge of Cuttack (e.g., Badambadi, Link Road, Mangalabag) to find the most efficient routes.
Safe Driving: Operating the delivery van following all traffic rules and maintaining the vehicle in clean, working condition.
Customer Interaction: Delivering packages to customers with a polite attitude and collecting payments (Cash on Delivery) where required.
Documentation: Maintaining delivery logs, getting signatures on invoices, and reporting any delivery failures or vehicle issues to the supervisor.
Mandatory Requirements
To be successful in this role, the candidate must have:
Valid Driving License: A LMV (Light Motor Vehicle) license is essential.
Local Knowledge: Familiarity with Cuttack’s narrow lanes and main junctions.
Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and carry packages of varying weights.
Smartphone Literacy: Basic ability to use delivery apps and Google Maps.
