Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Executive (EdTech) to drive student enrollments, build institutional partnerships, and expand market presence for our education technology products and training programs. The role involves lead generation, counseling prospective learners, relationship management, and achieving revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and generate leads through calls, emails, social media, events, and referrals
Counsel students/parents on courses, learning paths, and career outcomes
Convert inquiries into enrollments by understanding customer needs
Build and maintain relationships with colleges, schools, and training partners
Conduct product/course presentations (online & offline)
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
Maintain CRM records and sales reports
Coordinate with marketing and academic teams for campaigns and demos
Gather market intelligence and competitor insights
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related field
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Basic understanding of EdTech courses (IT, Data Science, AI, Skill Training, etc.)
Ability to convince, negotiate, and close deals
Comfortable with targets and performance-based roles
Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM tools, and online communication platforms
Preferred Skills
Experience in EdTech, Training Institutes, or Education Sales
Tele-sales or inside sales experience
Knowledge of career counseling and placement-oriented programs
Fluency in English + regional language(s)
