Position Overview

The Van Delivery Executive is responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to customers or business locations. This role ensures timely deliveries, accurate documentation, and excellent customer service while maintaining the vehicle in good condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Load, transport, and deliver goods to customers or designated locations.
• Verify delivery documents, invoices, and customer signatures.
• Ensure products are delivered in good condition and handle fragile items with care.
• Maintain delivery schedules and meet deadlines.
• Keep the delivery van clean, fueled, and in proper working order.
• Follow traffic rules, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Report any vehicle issues, delays, or delivery discrepancies to supervisors.
• Provide courteous and professional service to customers during deliveries.

Skills & Competencies

• Good driving skills with knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities.
• Customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Ability to handle physical tasks such as loading/unloading goods.
• Basic record-keeping and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license for commercial/light motor vehicles.
• Minimum high school education or equivalent.
• Prior experience in delivery or logistics preferred.
• Physically fit to handle manual tasks.

Work Environment

• On-road deliveries using company van.
• May involve early morning, late evening, weekend, or holiday shifts.
• Exposure to varying weather conditions during deliveries.
