Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
Measure, cut, grind, and shape metal components using hand and power tools
Assemble fabricated parts such as structures, frames, ducts, pipes, and supports
Perform fitting work prior to welding or final assembly
Align components using calipers, rulers, levels, and gauges
Assist welders during fabrication and installation activities
Inspect fabricated components for accuracy and quality
Carry out on-site installation and erection work as required
Follow safety procedures and use PPE at all times
Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area
Experience in fabrication, fitting, and structural work
Ability to read engineering drawings
Knowledge of welding processes (MIG, TIG, ARC) is an advantage
Familiar with safety standards and industrial practices
Good physical stamina and hand–eye coordination
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Experience
Experience in industrial fabrication, plant maintenance, construction, or manufacturing units
Exposure to steel structures, piping, tanks, platforms, or machinery fabrication
Work Environment
Factory floor / workshop / project site
May involve working at heights or in confined spaces
