Job Summary:
Responsible for assisting the Boiler Attendant in the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of the boiler and auxiliary equipment.

Key Duties:

• Assist in boiler start-up, operation, and shutdown procedures.
• Load fuel coal & bed material to maintain proper firing conditions.
• Assist in DM plant operation and testing of boiler water parameters.
• Monitor water levels, pressure, and temperature, and report abnormalities.
• Support daily cleaning of furnace, ash handling areas, and boiler surroundings.
• Assist in routine maintenance and minor repairs as directed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10th/ITI.
• Basic knowledge of boiler operations preferred.
• Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks.
