Job Responsibilities - 

operating, monitoring, and performing maintenance on various machines like balers, loaders, and conveyors to process recyclable materials. They are responsible for maintaining high product quality, adhering to strict safety protocols, performing routine equipment checks and cleaning, and documenting production logs. The role also involves coordinating with team members, managing material flow, and ensuring the work area is clean and organized.  

Setup and Operation:

Set up and operate machinery such as balers, loaders, and conveyors according to production specifications and process recyclable materials efficiently. 

Monitoring Performance:

Continuously monitor machine performance, adjust settings, and ensure optimal output to meet productivity targets. 

Material Handling:

Feed raw materials into machines, inspect and sort materials, and move finished products or bales to designated areas. 

Quality Control

Inspection:

Conduct regular quality checks on processed materials to ensure they meet high standards and identify any machine-related flaws or defects. 

Adjustments:

Make necessary machine adjustments to maintain product quality and ensure dimensional accuracy. 

Maintenance and Safety

Routine Maintenance:

Perform daily inspections, cleaning, and lubrication on equipment, and ensure adequate supplies like baler wire are on hand. 

Troubleshooting:

Troubleshoot equipment issues, coordinate repairs with maintenance teams, and report any malfunctions to supervisors. 

Safety Protocols:

Adhere strictly to safety regulations, maintain a clean and organized work environment, and ensure safety around all equipment and working areas.
