Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the marking, cutting, and fitting of steel and other structural materials.

• Read and interpret basic engineering drawings and fabrication sketches.

• Operate hand tools and basic power tools used in metal fabrication.

• Learn to use measuring instruments such as tape measures, levels, and squares accurately.

• Support in the assembly and installation of structural components.

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

• Participate in safety talks, training programs, and toolbox meetings.

• Observe and learn from skilled fitters to gain hands-on experience.

• Assist with the preparation and movement of materials and equipment on site or in the workshop.

• Complete required apprenticeship documentation and assessments.

Trade Apprentices shall be deployed in Production departments of the Company and will be exposed to the jobs related to their area of qualifications.  They will also be sujected to classroom training of one day per week which is as per the provisons of applicalbe Apprentice Rules.
