About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and execution-focused Assistant Manager - Cx & Ops (Travel Category) to lead the Travel Desk within Swiggy's CREW team. This role involves managing a team of Crew Captains who plan and coordinate travel/trips for premium users.
The ideal candidate should have prior experience in travel planning and vendor coordination, with a strong sense of ownership, creativity, and operational discipline.
Key Responsibilities:
. Lead and manage a team of Crew Captains responsible for planning and executing customer travel. . Drive operational excellence by ensuring timely execution of travel-related tasks and adherence to service standards. . Work closely with vendors to deliver memorable and high-quality experiences. . Provide creative direction for travel solutions tailored to customer preferences. . Manage shift schedules, task distribution, and escalations within the team. . Monitor key metrics such as task completion rate, customer satisfaction, and turnaround time. . Collaborate with internal teams to improve workflows and introduce innovative travel planning ideas. . Maintain the premium tone and quality standards of Swiggy's RARE service.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
. Must be based in Bangalore and open to rotational shifts (5-day work week including weekends). . 3-6 years of experience in travel or travel planning. . Experience in vendor management. . Prior experience in team management within a service or operations setup. . Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills. . Strong creativity and attention to detail in travel planning. . Ability to perform under pressure while ensuring a seamless customer experience. . Passion for delivering outstanding, personalized experiences for premium users.
