The Incoming Quality Inspector/ Engineer is responsible for performing inspections and tests on incoming raw materials, components, and purchased parts to ensure they meet company quality standards and specifications. This role is essential in preventing nonconforming materials from entering the production process.
Key Responsibility:
· Inspect incoming raw materials, parts, and products using established procedures and tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, Vernier meter).
· Review supplier documentation, such as Certificates of Analysis (CoA), Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and inspection reports.
· Perform sampling and testing based on defined Acceptance Quality Limit (AQL) standards or customer requirements.
· identify, document, and quarantine nonconforming materials.
· Maintain accurate inspection records and logs in ERP or quality management systems.
· Collaborate with Purchasing, Engineering, and Production teams to resolve quality-related issues.
· Assist in developing and updating incoming inspection procedures and work instructions.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment following all safety and quality protocols.
