Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to manage and execute residential automation projects. The role involves on-site supervision, wiring planning, system configuration, and coordination with clients and internal teams for smooth project execution. The ideal candidate should have experience in home automation systems and electrical installations in residential environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Execution & Site Work:

• Understand project drawings, BOQs, and system layouts for residential automation.

• Supervise and execute electrical wiring and installation of automation components (lighting, curtains, climate, AV, etc.).

• Coordinate with electricians, technicians, and contractors on-site to ensure timely and quality delivery.

• Ensure integration and functionality of devices like smart switches, panels, sensors, touch screens, hubs, etc.

• Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning at client locations.

Technical Coordination:

• Collaborate with design and sales teams to understand scope and technical requirements.

• Provide feedback on design feasibility based on site conditions.

• Assist in preparing site reports, material requirements, and installation progress updates.

Customer Interaction:

• Communicate effectively with homeowners and interior teams regarding execution timelines and on-site coordination.

• Provide basic demonstrations and usage guidance to clients post-installation.

Compliance & Quality:

• Ensure electrical safety standards and installation practices are followed.

• Maintain documentation of site work, drawings, and handover checklists.

• Monitor and maintain neatness of wiring and device placements.

Skills:

• 2–3 years of experience in residential project execution, preferably in home automation or low-voltage systems.

• Knowledge of automation brands like KNX, Lutron, Schneider Wiser, Legrand, etc. is a strong plus.

• Proficient in reading wiring diagrams, circuit layouts, and schematic drawings.

• Strong understanding of residential electrical systems and load calculations.

• Hands-on experience with tools, cable routing, panel installation, and testing equipment.

• Good communication and team management skills.

• Willing to travel to site locations and work flexible hours as per project needs.
