Job Description:

Operation activities towards Customs clearance and freight forwarding.

 

• Documentation:

  Freight forwarders are responsible for preparing and submitting various documents required for customs clearance, such as commercial invoices, bills of lading, and certificates of origin. 

• Compliance:

  They ensure that the shipment complies with all relevant regulations, including those related to prohibited or restricted goods, and that any applicable duties and taxes are paid. 

• Coordination:

  Freight forwarders coordinate with customs authorities, shipping lines, and other relevant parties to ensure a smooth clearance process. 

• Origin and Destination Handling:

  They handle the movement of goods from the shipper's location to the port or airport (origin handling) and from the port or airport to the consignee (destination handling). 

• Import and Export Clearance:

  This involves managing the customs clearance process both in the origin country (export customs clearance) and the destination country (import customs clearance).
