Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HR Operations Specialist to join our dynamic HR team. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of HR services, with a strong focus on compliance, process optimization, and employee experience. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of HR best practices, excellent communication skills, and proven experience in managing various HR operational processes, including those related to government apprenticeship programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Onboarding & Offboarding: Manage the end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless experience for employees. This includes preparing offer letters, conducting background checks, managing new hire paperwork, conducting exit interviews, and processing final settlements.
  • HRIS Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System). Generate reports and analytics as required to support HR decision-making.
  • Attendance & Leave Management: Oversee the attendance and leave management system, ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.
  • Payroll Support: Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, including managing inputs for new hires, terminations, promotions, and other changes.
  • Policy Implementation & Compliance: Assist in the implementation and enforcement of HR policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
  • Employee Relations Support: Provide initial support for employee queries and concerns, escalating complex issues to the HR Business Partner or HR Manager as needed.
  • Performance Management Support: Support the performance management process, including tracking performance reviews and providing administrative assistance.
  • HR Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized HR records, both physical and digital, ensuring confidentiality and data security.
  • Apprenticeship Program Management (NAPS & NATS):
    • Thorough knowledge and practical experience with the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) and the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS).
    • Identify suitable roles and departments for engaging apprentices under NAPS and NATS.
    • Manage the end-to-end process of apprentice recruitment, registration, and onboarding through the NAPS/NATS portal.
    • Ensure compliance with all NAPS/NATS guidelines, including stipend disbursement, training plan adherence, and record-keeping.
    • Act as a point of contact for apprentices and relevant government agencies regarding NAPS/NATS.
    • Prepare and submit necessary reports and documentation related to NAPS/NATS to government authorities.
  • HR Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to streamline and improve HR operational processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ad-hoc Projects: Assist with various HR projects and initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1 Year of progressive experience in HR Operations.
  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) and the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) is essential.
  • Strong understanding of Indian labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
