An Apprentice Solar ITI Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. This role requires a strong technical background, hands-on experience with solar systems, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Installation and Maintenance

   • Install solar panels, inverters, and related electrical components at residential, commercial, and industrial sites.

   • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of solar systems to ensure optimal performance.

2. Troubleshooting and Repairs

   • Diagnose and resolve issues in solar PV systems, including wiring, connections, and equipment.

   • Replace faulty components and ensure all systems comply with safety and performance standards.

3. Testing and Monitoring

   • Perform electrical testing of solar installations using specialized tools such as multimeters, insulation testers, and power analysers.

   • Monitor system performance and report on efficiency metrics.

4. Compliance and Documentation

   • Ensure installations meet all safety standards, codes, and regulations.

   • Maintain accurate records of installations, inspections, and repairs.

5. Customer Support

   • Provide guidance to customers on system operations and maintenance.

   • Address customer inquiries and resolve any technical issues promptly.
