Job Overview:
Sai Corporation, a leading manufacturer of cosmetics and personal care products, is looking for an Assistant Manager Store to oversee the receipt, storage, and movement of materials and finished goods. This role ensures efficient inventory management and smooth store operations to support manufacturing and supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the receipt of raw materials, packing materials, and finished goods, ensuring compliance with purchase orders and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials using inventory management systems and monitor stock levels for replenishment needs.
- Oversee the proper storage of materials in the warehouse, ensuring safe handling, compliance with health and safety standards, and maintaining a clean, organized environment.
- Conduct periodic physical stock audits, reconcile discrepancies in inventory records, and ensure accurate documentation of all stock movements.
- Manage the timely issuance of materials to production lines and dispatch of finished goods to distribution or sales teams based on demand and production schedules.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure efficient material handling, timely availability, and smooth transitions between departments.
- Lead, train, and supervise a team of store personnel to ensure efficient operations, adherence to company policies, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with the Quality Control team to inspect materials for quality before acceptance and manage non-conforming or damaged materials as per company procedures.
- Prepare and maintain regular inventory reports, assist with audits, and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded for stock reconciliation and planning.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national regulations related to material handling, storage, and distribution, and uphold industry safety standards at all times.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: BE, Diploma In Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in store management, inventory control, or warehouse operations, preferably in the automobile manufacturing or automobile component manufacturing indutries
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office Suite.
- Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
