Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced **Production Manager** to oversee our fasteners manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for production planning, process optimization, quality control, and ensuring timely delivery of products while maintaining efficiency and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Production & Process Management:

·         Plan, organize, and oversee daily production activities to meet output targets.

·         Optimize manufacturing processes for improved efficiency and cost reduction.

·         Ensure proper utilization of machinery, manpower, and raw materials.

·         Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S practices for continuous improvement.

Quality Control & Compliance:

·         Maintain high-quality standards and ensure compliance with ISO and other industry regulations.

·         Work closely with the quality control team to reduce defects and improve product consistency.

·         Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions for quality issues.

Team Leadership & Supervision:

·         Lead and mentor the production team, ensuring smooth workflow and discipline.

·         Train and develop workforce skills for better efficiency and safety compliance.

- Conduct performance reviews and address workforce challenges proactively.

Machine & Maintenance Management:

·         Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed to minimize downtime.

·         Coordinate with the maintenance team for quick resolution of machine breakdowns.

Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination:

·         Work with procurement and stores to maintain optimum inventory levels.

·         Monitor raw material usage and coordinate with vendors for timely supply.

Health & Safety Compliance:

·         Ensure all safety protocols are followed on the shop floor.

·         Conduct regular safety audits and implement necessary improvements.

Key Skills & Competencies:

·         Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, CNC/VMC operations, and fasteners production.

·         Expertise in Production Planning & Control (PPC).

·         Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S.

·         Ability to handle team management and shop floor supervision.

·         Problem-solving mindset with experience in process improvement.

·         Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP software, and production reporting tools.
