JOB DESCRIPTION – Credit Counsellor
A Credit Counsellor is the one who understands the customers’ problem and makes the customer understand about his Credit Report and outstanding liability.
A Credit Counsellor must specialize in recovering overdue payments from individuals or businesses on behalf of creditors. Their primary role involves providing customer with the proper solutions depending upon his financial status and willingness.
The key skills required is ability to strike conversations with debtors and negotiate payment arrangements and collect outstanding debts. He/she also guides the customer with regards to how he can maintain his credit worthiness in future.
Job Responsibilities:
- Counselling the customers to help them take informed decision regarding their delinquent accounts, credit rating and financial wellbeing.
- Outbound calling to customers including follow up and reminder calls.
- Create feasible repayment schedules based on their financial situation, aiming to secure full or partial payment of the debt.
- Provide great customer experience during each interaction.
- Record details of enquiries, comment and action taken.
Requirement:
- Graduate with Min. 1 year of experience in Tele-Collection’s (Domestic / International Voice Process).
- Understanding of CIBIL, Credit Score, NPA, Delinquencies
- Effective communication skills- English and Hindi.
- Basic MS Office Skills
- Willingness to work in target based role
- Positive attitude towards service delivery
