We are looking for a friendly and reliable Bartender to join our team. You will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, providing excellent customer service, and keeping the bar area clean and well-stocked.

• Care of and serve Beverages to guest with courtesy and attend to their request in a professional manner from the time they enter the outlet to the time they leave it

• Mix ingredients, such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters, to prepare cocktails and other drinks.

• Is responsible for ensuring that the Bar service sequence runs as defined by the Bar Manager.

• Is responsible for ensuring that machines are used and maintained in accordance with instructions manual and standard of procedure

• Ensure that beverages are served as per set standard and sales and par stock tally during the serving period.

• Ensure that guest is charged accurately as per consumption

• Report complaints and endeavour to satisfy guests immediately.

• Is responsible for ensuring clean and orderly presentation of the bar at all times and reporting any shortcomings to his supervisor

• Is responsible for ensuring mis-en-place work and making sure that the workplace is left clean

• Monitor cost and stock

• Active promotion of in house sales by optimal knowledge of all the services provided by the hotel and the opening times and promotions of all F&B outlets

• Motivate team members to carry out active beverages up selling

• Take over from the previous shift and obtain information at the start of the shift on all relevant information on the volume of business,VIPguests, tasks to be clarified and to be completed and special events or pass this on to the next shift

• Abide by procedures in the Food and Beverage Manual

• Perform any cognate duty assigned by the Bar Manager.
