WIREMEN

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Wireman to join our manufacturing plant. As a Wireman, you will be responsible for wiring and installing electrical systems and components according to blueprints, technical diagrams, and safety standards. You will work closely with the maintenance and production teams to ensure electrical systems operate efficiently, minimizing downtime and ensuring the smooth running of operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wiring and Installation:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, ensuring compliance with local and national electrical codes.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints for wiring installations.
  • Install electrical components such as circuit breakers, control panels, transformers, motors, and wiring systems in machinery.

• Electrical Maintenance:

  • Conduct routine inspections and tests of electrical systems, identifying issues and making necessary repairs.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in plant machinery and equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on electrical components to avoid equipment failure.

• Safety and Compliance:

  • Adhere to safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.
  • Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while working with electrical systems.

• Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with the production team to understand electrical needs and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Report all maintenance activities and findings to supervisors or plant managers.
  • Assist in the training and mentoring of junior wiremen or apprentices.
