A General Duty Assistant (GDA) works in (homecare healthcare settings to provide daily care for patients, including:
- Patient care: Assisting patients with daily activities like eating, dressing, and bathing.
- Patient safety: Ensuring the patient's safety and comfort.
- Patient health: Monitoring patient vital signs and reporting changes to the nursing staff.
