Industrial electrician
Reporting to the Production Manager, the Industrial Electrician is responsible for maintaining the installation, monitoring, and troubleshooting electrical equipment. Their job is to keep production facilities in good working order, and to suggest ways of improving their performance.
They work on different types of industrial equipment: the electrical network, PLCs, common parts and machines, whether mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic. The industrial electrician's ability to intervene, diagnose and repair problems quickly will help maximise the efficiency of production equipment;
In addition to these tasks, the industrial electrician is responsible for running the installation when the main operator is absent.
Main tasks/Responsibilities
Electricity
Commission electrical equipment
(Very low voltage (VLV) is between Un ≤ 120. Low voltage (LV range) is between 120 < Un ≤ 1 500. High Voltage (HV range) is between 1 500 < Un ≤ 75 000.)
Respond to emergency breakdowns
Diagnose and detect malfunctions
Implement preventive and corrective electrical maintenance
Maintain electrical installations in working order
Optimise and improve electrical installations
Laying cable trays, wiring and pulling cables
Carrying out first-level repairs in the workshop (changing motor bearings, etc.)
Carry out electrical work in common areas (offices, refectory, workshop, etc.)
