Overview:
The MIG/MAG Welder will be responsible for performing welding tasks on a vehicle maintenance project. The position requires the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications, as well as operate welding equipment to join metal parts.
Key Responsibilities:
● Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
● Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource requirements, and budget.
● Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure on-time delivery within budget.
● Manage project risks, including identifying potential issues, developing mitigation strategies, and communicating risks to stakeholders.
● Coordinate project team members and ensure that all team members are aware of their responsibilities and are working together effectively.
● Facilitate regular project meetings and report on project progress to stakeholders.
● Manage project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and budget updates.
● Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
● 1+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the automotive or vehicle maintenance industry.
● Proven experience in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
● Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams.
● Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
● Knowledge of project management software, such as Microsoft Project or similar tools.
● PMP certification is a plus.
