The Waiter/Waitress will take orders and serve food and beverages to Guests in our Restaurants, Bars & Pool and Beach. He /She must be always aware of Guest satisfaction to deliver the perfect service experience. Duties and responsibilities include servicing the Guest in a friendly, efficient manner while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Ensure proper mise en place of condiments, silverware, glassware and linen prior to service
• Acknowledge guest by name and greet them with the Residence Salutation
• Take/serve food and beverage order and repeat order to guest for confirmation.
• Promote menu products constantly and practice suggestive selling
• Observe hygiene and safety measures while handling food and beverage items
• Operate all the technical equipment which needs to be used as per manuals/instructions
• Make use the of the Micros cash system and present only printed bills in a clean bill folder
• Clean tables or counters after guests have finished
• Attend briefing before the outlet service period
• Take over from the previous shift and obtain all relevant information at the start of the shift as regards pending orders, unpaid bills and guest special dietary requirements.
• Ensure all canapé, birthday cakes, special food orders and beverages are per ordered as per the events of the day
• Relay guest feedback to the shift leader /supervisor or manager
• Abide by procedures in the Food and Beverage Manual
• Perform other duties as assigned by the head of department.
